Legal Requirements

Federal election law requires political committees to report the name, mailing address, occupation and employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 in a calendar year.

The New American Optimists committee may accept up to $5000 per individual contributor per calendar year.

Contributions to the New American Optimists are not tax deductible.
